The adventure to the land of Celestial Mountains, yaks, and bonfires under the starry sky of Kyrgyzstan

Over the past 20 years, guides of the Two Blades Adventures team have been discovering the most distant corners of our planet. We explored the remote mountainous regions of different countries, searching for crystal clear lakes, rivers, deep gorges, adrenaline, and places, the energy of which you feel with your whole body.

We visited 5 out of 6 continents and found a place that has sunk into our hearts and will leave a deep imprint on your heart too.

In the Summer of 2022, we will go to the Tien Shan Moutains again. This is a vast mountain range located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and stretching from West to East of the country for more than 2800 kilometers.

The Tien Shan mountain range was an integral part of the Great Silk Road, the main trade route between China and Europe in ancient times. Numerous caravans and wanderers overcame mountain passes and raging streams of roaring rivers flowing from the slopes of the Tien Shan and cutting deep canyons in these majestic mountains.

Kyrgyzstan is a mysterious country with a great history, friendly and open people, and a huge potential for various areas of outdoor activities, traveling, and unforgettable adventures.

Description of the trip:

This will be a 2-week long trip around the wonderful places of the Tien Shan Mountains. Magnificent mountain landscapes, snowy peaks, heavy roads, high-altitude lakes, warm climate, and the mesmerizing life of nomadic peoples. We will plunge into the charm of these places, spend the nights in yurts, get acquainted with the national cuisine, and taste kumis — a drink based on horse milk. Everything else you will see with your own eyes.

Route thread:

Our route will take place at an altitude of 1500 to 4000 meters above sea level. On our route, we will see big mountains, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, overnight stays on the banks of mountain rivers, herds of horses and mountain sheep, meetings and communication with local shepherds, swimming in glacial lakes, incredibly beautiful starry sky, songs by the fire, high mountain passes, interesting stories, and roads. Roads that will not leave you indifferent, whether you are a beginner traveler or an experienced adventurer.

• 4X4 OFF-ROAD trip

All trips of the Two Blades Adventures team in Kyrgyzstan are carried out on 4-wheel-drive 7-seat Mitsubishi Delica 4X4 vehicles (SUV) driven by experienced, educated, and interesting people. All drivers of the Two Blades Adventures team are our good friends, whose human qualities and reliability have been proved by numerous kayak expeditions, in which our love for this country was born. Together, we have found ways out of the most challenging situations many times, and we guarantee you complete safety on the upcoming trip.

Each SUV seats up to 4-5 people. According to our experience, this is the optimal number of people in the car when driving on heavy terrain.

In our trips, we guarantee you a hot shower, 3 meals a day, and interesting evenings by the fire.

 

• Motorcycle adventure

Join us on this amazing motorcycling trip and we will:

– show you the most exciting places for motorcycle trips in Kyrgyzstan

– provide full technical support for all motorcycles of the group

– ensure the baggage and equipment delivery for each member of the group from camp to camp

– organize hot showers and 3 meals a day along the entire route

– arrange each camp

– guide you along the entire route

And you enjoy riding a motorcycle and relaxing to the fullest.

 

• FAMILY package

You ride a motorcycle, and your family goes by SUV and enjoys the comfort and program of the 4X4 OFF-ROAD trip(see above).

Motorcycle rental:

We are currently working on the possibility of renting HONDA CRF300L motorcycles for participants in our motorcycle trips.

We can also help you deliver your own motorcycle from Europe to Bishkek and back.

• 4X4 AUTO trip: good physical shape, the experience of sleeping in a tent, unpretentiousness, ability to have fun, desire to discover new places.
• Motorcycle adventure: motorcycle license, the experience of riding a motorcycle on variable terrain, good physical shape, the experience of sleeping in a tent, unpretentiousness, ability to have fun, desire to discover new places.

Logistics:

We will meet you at the airport in Bishkek, and from now on, you will be in the safe hands of our guides. For the next 2 weeks of the trip, we take full responsibility for organizing and solving all logistics issues, and you enjoy the atmosphere of Kyrgyzstan.

In motorcycling groups, we will be constantly accompanied by a technical support car, which will allow us to ride empty motorcycles and visit the sights and hard-to-reach places of this amazing country.

At the end of the trip, we will bring you and your equipment to the airport in Bishkek.

Equipment:

Each participant brings along all equipment necessary for autonomous travel. We will spend nights in tents most of the time and cook food on a fire or a gas stove.

1300 EUR per person

The price includes:

• logistics throughout the trip
• hotel in Bishkek and overnight stay in yurts

The price does not include:

• Air flights, medical insurance
• rental or delivery of a motorcycle to/from Bishkek
• alcohol, cigarettes, and other personal costs.

Climate:

Common features of the climate in Kyrgyzstan are continentality, low rainfall, dry air, low cloudiness. The average temperature in August in the mountains is +20 +25 degrees Celsius. When spending the night in the highlands (above 2000 m), at night, the temperature can drop to +/- 0 degrees, so be sure to bring warm clothes, hats, and down jackets.
